This work was written in 2009 at the request of Nicolas Prost, who is the dedicatee and who gave the first performance. In this work, the roles of the two instruments initially seem like a long dialogue of two minds who progressively unite to go in the same direction. The performers are free to hone or even modify the dynamics, articulations and tempi as they see fit, so long as that does not contradict the aesthetic of the work.
