Suite in 3 movements.
The piano pieces by Jirí Pauer are a musical peculiarity. Clear, manageable formal structures combined with interesting harmonics invite you to make this music accessible to brass orchestras. In order to create the most colourful and interesting sound combinations possible, the drum register was used very creatively. The instrumentation takes the Central European tradition into account - with flugelhorn and tenor horn. It is particularly important to make this interesting literature available to smaller orchestras. The arrangement takes this into account in a special way. The piano score included in the score is intended as an aid to the conductor. Of course, even a pianist can replace voices that are not available, reinforce others or play along at all - here the conductor can and should bring in his creativity.
