What are the advantages of a customer account?

A customer account facilitates and shortens the ordering process:

  • You have an overview of current and past orders.
  • You can always check the current status of your order and cancel items online yourself if necessary.
  • You manage your data yourself, can create several delivery addresses and do not have to type them in again for every order.

How can I create a customer account?

You can create your customer account during your first order.

What could be the reason if I do not receive a password for my customer account?

If you do not receive the requested password email, please also check your spam folder. Please take into account that the link contained in the e-mail is only valid for a few hours. It is also possible that you had accidentally entered a typing error in your mail address. In that case, please contact us by phone or e-mail so that we can correct the address if necessary.

I can no longer log in to my customer account, what can I do?

How does the article search work?

In the Stretta Shop, there are various search options available to you, depending on your individual needs:

  • If you know exactly what you are looking for, it is best to enter the name of the composer and the title in the search field to find what you are looking for.
  • You can enter several terms separately, but for connected words (phrase search) it is better to use inverted commas, such as "organ playing from the beginning".
  • If you want to exclude certain words, then put a minus sign directly in front of the word, e.g.: "piano -etudes". This way you search for sheet music for piano, but exclude etudes from your search.
  • If you want to browse through the sheet music suitable for your instrument or ensemble, you can enter the search via Home. There we have pre-sorted the shop for you according to different categories. You can refine your search further using the filter tree. You can find more details below under the question How do I use the filter tree for the search?
  • If you enter the search via All scores, you can use the filter tree to further differentiate your search by instrument, musical style, level of difficulty and so on. You will find more details below under the question How do I use the filter tree for the search?
  • All search options can be combined with each other as desired.

How do I use the filter tree for the search?

The filter tree appears on the left-hand side of the page All scores. The different facets of the filter tree can be combined with each other in any way and allow you to refine your search in the shop more and more.

Please note that you have to remove filters to get to other search results. The easiest way to start a new search via the filter tree is to click on All scores.

I can't find a certain item in your shop – does that mean you don't offer it?

Please first check whether you still have a preset activated in the filter tree (on the left of the website) and then restart the search. If you still cannot find the desired article, we will be happy to research this for you. Please contact us by telephone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or E-Mail (info@stretta-music.com).

For some orchestral works, the respective publisher only provides the orchestral material on loan. You can find more information under Sample score/ Rental material.

Can I order a sample score from you?

Unfortunately, we cannot supply sample scores. However, you can get an impression of the scores by looking at the preview pictures on the item pages in the shop. If no thumbnails are displayed, please contact us by tel. (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or E-Mail (info@stretta-music.com) and we will put them on our website as soon as possible.

Can I order rental material from you?

The publishers only provide sheet music for some works, especially conducting scores and orchestral material, on loan. You cannot order such rental material from us. However, we will be happy to give you the names of the responsible contact persons at the music publishers. Please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or by e-mail (info@stretta-music.com).

I would like to order fewer copies of an article than the specified minimum quantity – is that possible?

We are bound by the publishers' specifications for the specified minimum order quantities. This applies to choral scores as well as to individual parts of ensemble or orchestral works.

If the actual number of parts required is significantly less than the minimum order quantity, please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or e-mail (info@stretta-music.com) In some cases, publishers sell smaller quantities with a certain surcharge.

How does the payment method “Invoice” work?

With this payment method, the invoice amount is due after receipt of the goods. With the shipment of your order your invoice will be sent to you by e-mail. You will find it also in printed form in the package.

Why can't I select “Invoice” as payment method?

If you cannot select this payment method, please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or e-Mail (info@stretta-music.com) . We will be happy to check the cause and, if necessary, create the order with this payment method for you.

Please note: For new customers ordering download items, the payment method Invoice is deactivated by default.

Where can I find the bank details for the transfer?

You will find the bank details for the transfer in your invoice, which you will receive after your order has been dispatched. If you no longer have the invoice at hand, please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or e-Mail (info@stretta-music.com)

Further payment methods

In addition to invoice, you can also choose direct debit, PayPal or your credit card as a payment method. You can find more information here: Payment and shipment.

How long does it take for an item to be delivered?

The delivery time for each item can be found on the respective item page. We try to guess your country from the browser data transmitted. If the country does not match the desired delivery country – e.g. because you are accessing our site from a company network – you can change the setting via the link in the delivery time information.

I need an item as soon as possible, what can I do?

If you want to be sure whether we can deliver a desired item by the required date, please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or e-mail (info@stretta-music.com) . We will be happy to check whether we can make an immediate partial delivery.

My order has not yet arrived – what can I do?

If you have already received a shipping confirmation some time ago, but have not yet received a delivery, please contact us by phone (+49 (0)9306 98522-0) or e-mail (info@stretta-music.com)

From where do you ship the orders?

We ship your orders from Eibelstadt, Lower Franconia, Germany. When shipping to other countries, the delivery time may therefore increase by a few days.

How are the orders shipped?

We will send your order climate neutral by letter post (Deutsche Post) or by DHL parcel.

How can I return something if I change my mind or the item does not meet my expectations?

You can, return the ordered items to us within fourteen days of receipt. Please enclose a copy of the invoice with the return. This will enable us to process your credit note more quickly. You can also use this sample cancellation form.

If it is not possible to enclose the invoice or a copy, please write your name, address, and order or invoice number on a piece of paper and enclose this with the return.

Please remember to put sufficient postage on your shipment.

We will confirm receipt of the return by e-mail. If the goods have already been paid for, you will of course receive a corresponding refund immediately.

How do I get my download articles?

You can download your download items immediately after completing your order. You will also find the links to your downloads in an email you receive immediately after your order. Please note that the download links expire after 24 hours. If you have a customer account, you can also access your download editions later; however, this only applies to articles from our own edition (Stretta-Verlag).

I have a download subscription or download credit points – how can I redeem it?

To check your remaining download credit, please log in to our website. When you open any download article, you will find one of the buttons Buy article with Stretta subscription or Buy with download points. Click on the button and your current download balance will be displayed. Only when you confirm the purchase will the points be charged to your account.

Can I buy gift certificates from Stretta?

Unfortunately, we are not yet able to offer gift certificates. However, we are currently revising our voucher system in the shop so that in future you will be able to order and redeem gift certificates/vouchers quickly and easily via our website.

I have not found the right answer to my question. How can I contact Stretta?
