Flute – Sheet Music, Tuition Books & Scores

One of the earliest instruments, believed to be up to 50,000 years old, the flute has taken lots of shapes throughout its evolution. Some of the oldest were made out of old bones from birds or animals, then moving forwards they were often made of wood, it wasn’t until 1832 that Munich based German instrument builder Theobald Boehm made the conical flute, which is the model on which all our modern flutes are based.
