Ernst-Thilo Kalke, der Altmeister der Stuttgarter Swing­Szene, hat bekannte Gospels, aber auch Eigenkompositionen, wie z. B. Dreamland oder Fast Food, für zwei Instrumente gesetzt.

Der 1024 in Stuttgart geborene Komponist studierte bei Prof. Philipp Mohler an der Musikhochschule in Stuttgart. Kalke schrieb Werke für Sinfonieorchester, Blasorchester, Chor und Kammermusikensembles. Als Komponist und Arrangeur arbeitete er unter anderem auch für die Erwin-Lehn-Big-Band des Süddeutschen Rundfunks.
